At Mark-ee Rentals, we bring bold style and unforgettable flair to events across Eastern Nebraska. Founded in 2023 after our own wedding, our family-owned business was created with one goal in mind — to help others celebrate life’s biggest moments with light, charm, and personality.

We specialize in marquee letter rentals, marquee number rentals, custom marquee signs, and decorative event backdrops — perfect for weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, baby showers, and more. Our high-impact pieces are designed to turn heads and create photo-worthy memories.

How long is the rental period?

Our standard rental period is 48 hours (typically over a weekend), but we offer extended rental options for multi-day events. Let us know your needs during booking.
How do I pick up and drop off?

If you choose the FREE pickup and drop off you can pick up directly from our shop in Wahoo. We have an enclosed Mark-ee Rentals trailer outside of the shop where we will put your rental in. The rental will be ready 1-3 days before your event. The pickup hours are extremely flexible. We just ask that you pick up or drop off after 7am and before 9pm.
What if I need custom letters, numbers, or symbols?

We offer a wide selection of letters, numbers, and some special characters. Custom designs or specialty requests may require additional time and fees. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please ask us! We are always looking for ways to add to our collection and would love to design something new! We may just need additional time to get it built!
How do they plug in?

Our marquee signs are wired to plug in like holiday lights! Each light has a plug and outlet, so you can string each light together to create one seamless chain.
How big are your marquee letters/numbers?

Our standard letters, numbers, and ampersand are 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide. They are about 6 inches thick. Some of our letters have a stand on the back of them that add 4 more inches to the depth.
What events are marquee letters suitable for?

Our marquee letters are perfect for weddings, proposals, birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, graduations, proms/school dances, corporate events, brand activations, and more. Truthfully, the possibilities are endless!
How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons like weddings and graduations. But, we take week-of rentals based on availability! Please don’t be afraid to ask!
Can I use marquee letters outdoors?

Yes, but outdoor use depends on weather conditions. We cannot set up in rain, snow, or high winds unless adequate shelter is provided. Let us know if you are planning on setting them up outside and we will make sure there are stands attached to the back for additional support.
What type of vehicle do I need to pick up or drop off?

We ask that you use an SUV, enclosed truck bed or trailer to pick up and drop off the letters. we also ask that our rentals are transported without being exposed to the outside elements. Any rental larger than 5-6 letters will need a trailer to be transported. Please bring plenty of blankets and towels to ensure the letters do not get damaged during transportation.
Do you offer delivery and setup?

Yes! We provide full delivery, setup, and breakdown services. We handle everything to ensure a seamless experience for your event. The standard fee for this is $200 for any event in the Lincoln, Omaha, or surrounding areas. There can be an additional fee for mileage if it is outside of this area.
